What is CDF Freedom Schools?
Rooted in the Mississippi Freedom Summer project of 1964, the CDF Freedom Schools is a six-week literacy program enhances children’s motivation to read. CDF Freedom Schools has a rich, researched based multicultural Integrated Reading Curriculum (IRC) that fosters children’s love with reading.
What is a Servant Leader Intern?
A Servant Leader Intern serve as the teacher for a maximum of 10 scholars. Our SLI’s are positive role models who serve as facilitators in the classroom, leaders of parent workshops and community outreach activities.
Are you Servant Leader material?
R.I.S.E. Corp’s Servant Leader Interns should be experienced in working with children, responsible, energetic, possess the ability to think on his/her feet. SLI’s go through 90 hours of comprehensive training.
